Here are lights and parades to consider this November in Bracebridge, Gravenhurst and Orillia, all within about two hours of Orillia and all taken from the organizers' own pages.

Bracebridge

Festival of Lights, November 20 to December 4. The Town of Bracebridge lists the opening as the Moonlight Shopping Party and Street Festival on Friday, November 20, from 6 to 9 p.m., with fireworks at 8. The festival closes with the Santa Claus Parade on Friday, December 4, at 6 p.m. along Manitoba Street.

Gravenhurst

Santa Claus Parade, Saturday, November 28, 11 a.m., downtown. This is the 73rd annual parade, themed "Candy Cane Lane."

Light Up the Wharf, Saturday, November 28, 5 to 7 p.m., Cockburn Square, Muskoka Wharf. Tree lighting, shopping specials, a photo booth, story time, a fire and glow show, and fireworks. The Town says to check back for the complete schedule.

Orillia

Santa Claus Parade, Saturday, November 28, 5 to 7 p.m., downtown. This is the 121st annual parade. The organizer names Mississaga Street and the area near City Hall as popular viewing spots. The route map currently displayed is labelled 2025, so check with the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce for the 2026 route before choosing your viewing spot.

The Gravenhurst parade is in the morning and Orillia's is in the evening, so you can see both. Light Up the Wharf and the Orillia parade overlap from 5 to 7 p.m., so you will need to choose between those two.

Dates are as listed by each organizer. Confirm times with the organizer before you travel.
